1 John 3:1
1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
Our heavenly father loves his creation. After all, we were created in his image, both saved and unsaved.
1 John 3:1 says “he lavished his love on you”. The dictionary defines “lavished” as “to bestow something in generous or extravagant quantities on.” God's love is not a feeling, but a fact. A truthful fact.
When we choose to believe the truth about God’s love for us instead of basing it on our circumstances or feelings, we start to experience the practical consequences of this amazing truth. YOU ARE LOVED!
